I am a wedding planner for a few weddings a year,in my local county only. Although I am a professional destination wedding photogrpaher, I do not shoot for hire, the weddings I plan. The images I take at the weddings I plan, I give to the brides as an added bonus. Most weddings I shoot I will end up giving my clients anywhere from 1000 to 1400 hundred images. For the weddings I plan they may get a couple of hundred if I shot the whole event. I only lift my camera when I see something really beautiful and always working around the hired photographer. My son graduated from Sonoma State with a BA majoring in phycology. He needed it being raised by a child mother. He just finished his last 3 units in summer school. I couldn't be prouder considering I didn't make it out of the 10th grade. Ryon is truleu true grit. Accountable, dependable, tough, disciplined, a true Spartan and fierce. His shear will and determantion have always made me feel less than, in his precence. I have learned much from him and I really like him. Ian is back to work from 3 weeks off from sheriff's dept. He worked his other job most of the time, but he was home in the evenings and I enjoyed that. Now I am back to work too. I will work the hours he does and miss him while I do it. I am taking a look at my sugar addiction and getting ready, as my life feels more unmanagable because of it, to take some action. It's the getting ready that's always the hard part. I am taking Olivia to the coast, over to Mendo, for a Birit O'conner watercolor workshop. She is one of my FAVORITE living artists. I am going to have some time alone with Liv, before her 6 month European Tour and I really miss painting. I have to find a way to incorparate it into my life more or I can't find the joy and everything starts to feel like too much work. Olivia is going to go to Europe with my Aunt Francis and stay in Switzerland with my cousin Heidi.She and Jane are taking the Rossetta Stone French Lessons. I am PEA GREEN with envy. Lucky Liv. I will only have 2 children in the house this fall. The 5 to 2 transition went quick. I still have 3 dogs. My gardens are exploding. I am working on Chad and Drea's wedding as the planner and it is this weekend. It's going to be Big and Beautiful. I can't wait to see how it is going to turn out. I really enjoyed shooting Whitney and Bobby's wedding at Silver Lake. It was very special for me. The family, their traditions and the location. I enjoyed their family very much. What a great crew. Lots of changes. Lots of fears and of course lots of practicing feeling it and doing it anyway.
